I like to leave a special review for the manager and Holiday Inn sterling Heights Michigan property. His name is. Paolo Nona I stayed there from November 23 to November 27. I booked my room through Booking.com double bed that was not my first time staying there. I stay there always when I come from Wisconsin never had this problem but this time they give me only one king bed, I contacted the third-party three times and they tried to contact the manager at the hotel. He never respond to their messages. He is very rude and disrespectful to me and to my wife when you try to talk to him he think he’s the owner he should be not a manager. He should be a janitor cleaning bathrooms . I had the worst experience in this hotel that was my third time staying there and my last time because of this manager and his staff, they all not friendly when we tried to talk to him to switch the room for us he thinks we are homeless we’re trying to get free stuff from him but I paid money for the room $900 but he never did anything for me. Not even a sorry came from his mouth, I wish if you fire him. his name is Paolo Nona. Worst manager ever. Disrespectful, disrespectful Give this manager and the staff zero star specially the manager

Was lied to when asked if their pool, was available for use, when I got there the pool and gym were closed due to maintenance issues, and was completely lied to, the pool never opened, and the entire reason I wanted to stay there was because it was my birthday on march 15, 2022 and wanted to have a pool party with a few of my friends, well that never happened!

The tub, floors were filthy. The tub and sink needed to be replaced. I noticed some of the rooms were being gutted and hopefully refurbished. I don't know if there were any rooms that were better than the one we had, but I would be ashamed to rent this room.

Everything was great at check in very helpful.

Everything was great at check in very helpful. As I went to go to my room I discovered that the Elevator was out off order so I had to carry all my luggage and work up 2 flights of stairs which took multiple trips. My room was dirty, thick layers of dust in the bathroom and mould along the bathtub. I then tried to take a shower and there was no hot water, I went to the front desk and raised my concern the reply I got was a very abrupt "yeah we know, we're going to refund you $25 because of that" ( the room cost $180 per night). I said to the lady on reception you could of informed me of this when I checked in to which she just shrugged her shoulders and didn't say anything. Later in the evening I was due to meet some friends for dinner when I discovered that my room would not lock. I called down and informed the front desk that I was having an issue with my door. It took 25 minutes for someone to come and inspect the problem for them then to tell me that they didn't have any idea why it wouldn't lock. The front desk then called me and said there was nothing they could do about the lock. I had to pack all belongings up and find a new hotel (it was 10pm when I finally checked out) I missed dinner with my friends. All in all a nightmare experience in a dirty run down hotel with staff that had extremely poor communication skills and didn't`seem to care
